Once Upon A Time
From a home studio just outside Dayton, Ohio comes the music project Something PiCaSo. Inspired by great bands like Cheap Trick, Thin Lizzy and KISS and master songwriters like Tom Petty, Ed Roland and Warren Zevon - Something PiCaSo blends the feel of classic rock with threads and sprinkles of the modern and alternative worlds.
“In my best dreams we would be the rock and roll love child of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and Collective Soul.” - Chuck Bechard Something PiCaSo Beginning with their first release, INTO THE LIGHT in 2006, Something PiCaSo has consistently found themselves in the TOP 40 of several underground and independent music charts - including two songs in the TOP 10 with RADIO INDIE ALLIANCE and eight #1 songs on the SOUNDCLICK Rock & Rock General charts. “Bechard’s songwriting style has a way of engaging the listener, giving you a mental image of its message.”
With their music being played on radio stations around the world, Something PiCaSo is inspired and excited to explore new musical territory and landscapes. 2023 has already exceeded any thoughts of what was possible and that's because of you out there pressing play and supporting the music. “You guys have a cool sound man, at times I can also hear a little Soul Asylum in the vocals, some Smithereens mixed with the alternative darkness of an Alice In Chains...all this and of course you still have that element that makes your music your very own that every artist brings to the table & makes you unique.” Eddie Steel - WJOE Program-Music Director THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND KINDNESS - Chuck |

Chuck Bechard
I have been here since the beginning, so I am lucky enough to have experienced the joy of creating music and art with all of the wonderfully talented people on this page. I started writing songs as far back as 6th grade and that passion and process continues to grow to this very day. My musical journey has been a lifetime full of great experiences. I have played with talented musicians, shook hands with some of my heroes and opened for legends like, BRITNEY FOX. JOURNEY and DEF LEPPARD. I want to thank all of you for being a part of this experience and supporting the music through all its different incarnations. The journey and adventure continues with the next song only a count in away. 1, 2, 3, FOUR! ... |
David Blue
I have been an FM rock fan since I was a young kid. The first 45 single I bought was Joan Jett - I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL and my first album was Pat Benatar ("Hit me with your best shot"). The first CD I bought was Styx - The Grand Illusion. I focused on learning keyboards for a high school rock band that covered Whitesnake, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin and started learning guitar a year later. The guitar became a passion for me and I have never stopped playing or learning. Seven years ago I finally embarked on learning to build my very own '59 Les Paul replica. So, between playing favorite cover tunes, writing and recording songs, and building guitars...I am always enjoying my passion. Stop by & check out David's music on Sound Cloud. |
